What kind of bedding is best for my pet?

It depends on your individual pet and what is important to you.

§    Pine:  This is a great all-purpose bedding.  It has a clean, fresh scent, great absorption properties, and has been the economical choice for millions of pet owners, farms and veterinary research facilities for decades.

§    Red cedar: This wood has many unique, desirable characteristics. These include a strong, woodsy aroma, excellent odor control and insect repellant properties.

§    Aspen: This scent free wood contains no aromatic oils, and at the same time it is highly absorbent.  It is the wood bedding of choice when there is concern that your pet may have respiratory sensitivities.

§    Comfort Care or Comfort Plus Paper Bedding: Our all natural product provides the ultimate in soft, highly absorbent bedding for all kinds of pets.  It is a gentle, non irritating bedding containing no aromatic oils.  This is a great bedding for every day use, as well as for animals with special needs such as hand raised baby birds and post-surgical pets.

Is your bedding kiln dried?

All of our pine, cedar, aspen and paper beddings are kiln dried to ensure minimum moisture content for maximum absorbency, as well as to kill any bacteria present.
