Is color critical?

Yes, in some applications it can be. Color is a naturally occurring property of each individual species and is not controlled. Species purity, which we do control, assures you the color you choose will remain constant. Mixes of species, especially those that allow variation in the amount of each species present,  can lead to dramatic color variation.

Is quality information available?

American Wood Fibers always guarantees to ship wood flour free of dirt, bark, metal and other contaminants. Standard quality information available with each order is particle distribution and upon request moisture content (as packaged at the plant) and bulk density. Other test parameters may be available on request but may add additional cost for the product. Check your needs with your local representative.
